Well, about that time to chuck in another old piece of wallpaper I’ve done to take up space on the blog since I don’t have a clue what to write about at the moment. Sticking in another LoGP (I did a lot of stuff with their art since I was helping to contribute a bit at the time), which will be restarting their betas soon, and they’ve finally got a website up. Give Legend of Golden Plume a looksee.

The Kitn and I were just doing some shopping/strolling around when we noticed this ATM with at first glance I thought to myself ahh yes a windows OS crapping itself when on closer inspection of course it looks like this what would be helpfull machine had a little chat with it’s pals over at Cyberdyne and planned to put an end to all!
As normal (well most of the time) we were armed with our trusty camera and took some quick snaps before some twitchy securty guard had thoughts of us planning to have away with the world ending ATM.

Here’s today’s shopping article featuring a toy with my namesake, Pinky Street Figure (My Melody).
I was never too big of a fan of My Melody stuff growing up, but my sister was a big fan of stuff like Little Twin Star and the like, so they figured I’d be too. Instead, I would buy into the lesser of the pink evils such as Keroppi or Pochaco to stave my Sanrio fixes of random useless trinkets and boxes.
Nowadays, I don’t mind the gal as much, and besides, the Pinky Street figures are pretty darn cute. They need to start making more green colored gals…

For some strange reason or another I was looking at a recent fuel receipt and I noticed that I had some how managed to obtain 3 green club card points! For putting fuel in my car! Now I for one can’t see anything green about cars or fuel, let alone putting fuel into a car!
Oh, and for those who might not know what I’m going on about; Green club card points are given by some stores to it’s customers who re-use bags etc.

I was reading an article over at The Consumerist, and while going through the user comments someone posted this and I just had to share as it made me laugh.
The actual post I was reading was about the 100 billion dollar bills from Zimbabwe and how little the currency is worth. I guess people in the US, or at least some, think their currency is heading in the same way, but with more interesting notes in the future.

I guess after any amount of time any game without major changes or mixups can become stagnant and boring. Which is why, currently, I am thinking/doing a reroll to a new server. Of course this is not limited to any single game, so it can apply to all, but my reasons for doing so have many factors.
Currently we are on a PvP server. Now I like PvP, but when it suites me, not all the time. So if I want to just PvE, I should be able to without all the hassle of ganking and what not. This is one of the main factors of the move. We want to go to a PvE server where you have the choice.
Community. At the present the current populous of the server is generally, how shall we say… not helpful or nice. Most of the people are pretty much in it for themselves grabbing all they can when they can. I know in a way it’s the aim of the game, but when the social aspect is tossed in those “I’m in it for what I can get” attitudes have to change accordingly, right ? I mean people you interact with and help you can’t be expected to be forgotten or left out.
So in essence we are looking for a somewhat fresh start with a more friendly community where PvP is a choice and not enforced. It’s not like we haven’t met nice people where we are, it’s just that there hasn’t been enough. The people who we did meet will be missed for sure, but for our sakes, I guess it’s time to move on.
Well, another day of not quite knowing what to blog, so here’s me chucking an easy one at you with another of the old wallpaper art I tried doing using Florensia fansite pieces.

Working in a high/secondary school isn’t always the most pleasent of experiences thats for sure but sometimes, just sometimes there is a time when you get back at those kids! And today is that day!!
Most of the school went on some kind of end-of-school day trip, but a few always are left behind for whatever reason. For those we set up a computer room to run a lan game of Quake 2 (old I know but it runs on the schools old pc’s) which so far has proven quite popular even with the girls who… are quite girly if you get what I’m yapping on about.
So after setting up the room I joined the game! muahahahaha “TheTechGuy” was my name and a killing spree it was! Fragging left and right students and teachers alike! Of course I won the game which was set to 50 kills by a lead of nearly 30 but I can only describe my mad killing spree as a bumble bee with a shotgun (or rail gun in my case).
My co-worker who were in the room as I played from the office overheard “Oh no! TheTechGuy has joined again we’re all going to die!!!” Oh how that made my day 
Ahh such sweet revenge!
The Kitn and I are a little stuck at the moment. We have some 360 games (some which the Kitn won in some competitions) and some from our time in the US, but we have no console to play them on. We could just bite the bullet and get a UK version, but it would be a massive waste of the games we already have! Looking around its been hard to find a place to get one imported, and Ebay being such the scam city it is I would rather go without.
It looks like our only choice is to have relatives send one over, and hope we don’t get stuck with import tax. The other thing which is going to hike up the price is shipping! We all know how much of a monster that darn power pack is for the 360.
And last but not least. My main concern is that dreaded RROD! The last thing we want is to try and get the thing repaired from out of country… Oh to 360 or not to 360…
Knowing us I’m sure we will !!!….eventually. Can’t let perfectly good games go to waste now can we 
?
