Once upon a time I put it upon myself to learn a second language.  I wasn’t interested in learning what schools offered which were French, German and Spanish, so a few years ago I started to learn Japanese, which was mysterious and interesting as well as a challenge to learn!

But this is about Tagalog / Filipino, not Japanese.  I’ve long since stopped learning Japanese to take on Tagalog with the help of Kitn!  So far things are moving along slowly as I work on my butchering, pronunciation, and my struggle to build a vocabulary.  I know I can learn a second language as I really started to take on the Japanese pretty fast so hopefully it will work again and soon enough I will be chatting away in Tagalog!

With the help of some awesome flash cards the wonderful Kitn prepared, my vocab should expand from more than just “my name is”.
