No goblins here just death knights with their ghouls (and such fun little pets they are)!  After messing around in the beta for a while I tried out my death knight, Dkdave, which I had said to myself I wouldn’t play too much, as I want to save it for retail.

Well, I just had to take a lil’ peek and after a few minutes of play I realized my ghoul hadn’t bitten the dust, and had been out for an unusually long time.  After closer inspection of the skill to raise dead it looks like they may be doing away with this and letting you keep it out until your done, as the skill now reads “until cancelled”, which is all fine and dandy good news to me and I hope that stays as I do plan to be unholy.

One little bug I did find in my short stint on Dkdave was that the ghoul had the name “RandomPetName” which im guessing is their master plan for the summoned pets to have…. dun dun DUNNNN… random pet names just like the warlocks get.  The question will be will the name stay with your character or will it truely be a random pet name everytime.  I think a random name each time would make sense seeing as you never know who it is your using as your corpse to explode or raise from the dead.

And here is the star of the show! Mr. RandomPetName himself! Doesn’t he look awesome? Well, at least this gamer does!

Thats right! Say hello to my lil friend, TootsieRoll, the rhino!  After seeing a video of someone running around with one of these I just had to try it for myself and I just love his awesome size! For too long now have pet’s size been reduced to something pathetic, but now we have the rhino, which after taming, is still an awesome size!  He does still fit inside the inn, although he takes up a massive amount of space, but it’s just so cool.

I, for one, hope that the size of this fella doesn’t get nerfed and stays as is.

Just a note, these pets are only available to beast mastery spec hunters, and by the looks of them will make great tanking pets!

While playing with my shaman on WoW with a friend he doubted me when I said he was swimming through the air! yes I know sounds wierd right ? well being that kind of person I set out to prove I wasn’t spouting lies and took video proof!  Oh and for the record I am no master video editor so theres no way I removed his flying mount by editing the video (besides that would take way too long!)

Enjoy the crazyness that is…. Bugs & Glitches!

Back again for another installment of Beta Sightseeing.  Lately, I haven’t gotten around to being able to travel as much through the beta, but I’ll definitely try to keep the screenshots coming as much as possible!

And you can’t miss the banner pointing you to the Wrath of the Lich King Beta Gallery section for uncropped screenshots from the Sightseeing articles!  Click on the link to jump on over and check out the pictures.

Imagine my surprise, as I was looking for new Dog The Bounty Hunter information about its news season, at finding A&E having updated Dog’s page on their website in a rather savvy and snazzy fashion.  No longer is it that dismal one picture and broken linked site we had mentioned about on one of our earlier articles.  Instead, there’s now great looking visuals to complement videos of the crew in their latest 5th season escapades.  The navigation is much more spot on and they’ve even got wallpaper downloads for us rabid fans.

For us European fans of the Dog, I definitely encourage you to take a look at A&E’s official website for Dog The Bounty Hunter and family.  We can at least sneak peeks at the latest clips we’ll have to wait on (because I suspect we’ve barely even scratched season four on television here), as well as take a gander at some great pictures of the family and their killer posing at the picture gallery.

Good job A&E at getting with that much needed and much improved update!

Another day another set of pictures to peruse from the lovely world of Beta Wrath!  We’ve got a few more pictures ready for your eyes to gaze upon and spoil yourselves on if you haven’t been able to pounce about in beta yourself.

Remember, keep an eyes out for these articles as well as checking out the Wrath of the Lich King Beta Gallery section for uncropped screenshots in all their glory!  Hit the jump for the pictures.

We’re back with a second installment of Game Intro Time Machine, looking back fondly at intros and cinematics that were memorable then and now.  Today’s flashback deal with two Saturn games (and not the current guitar strumming band) I thoroughly enjoyed and would love to see either a remake (in English) or a decent portable port.

Hit the jump to get a looksee and relive some good gaming memories.

Well, as you recall, Yeti was invited to muck around in the WoW Wrath Beta.  Because of this, Kitn gets a chance to paw around as well, and thankfully, Yeti has a rogue transferred so I can go sneaky-beaky to certain spots safely.

Now, I’m not very good at handling decent articles about stuff like talent changes, or specs, or the whole rigamarole that requires knowing the ins and outs of certain classes.  There are plenty of other sites that are already up-to-the-minute on things of that sort.  So what I can do instead, is give you a place to visually feast on areas of the Beta you might not have seen before.  I’ve always loved taking screenshots of places in game, and Wrath is no exception.

Check out some of the screens after the jump, and for an unedited look at the screenshots, check out the gallery link at the end of the article.  I’ll shove in more and more pictures as testing goes on, so be sure to check in often.

All right, so the past few days have been rife with crickets and tumbleweeds.  You’d think with a fresh beta invite to a popular mmo and a brand new PS3, we’d be chock full of random junk to talk about and bombard you with pictures and what not.

In all honesty we do… but we’ve been rather lazy bums about writing about it.  I can’t say the same for Yeti, but for me, I have a method to my madness, and my OCDness has to have pictures a certain way and all texted out with links and whatnot and all sorts of coverage.  But writing that way can be a real drain, and when I’m finicky about what to do, the motivation will come and go at a moment’s notice.  When I have my long articles, I’m motivated, inspired, and I write while I have it, because I’ve learned it won’t last long and I’ve got to use it while it’s there.  It’s the same way for when I do anything, like learning my crochet, doodling, even gaming.

So, I know the place has been barren lately, but I’ll try to knuckle down and get some articles up and running at least during this week.  Keep visiting, there’s bound to be something new to pop up eventually!

All righty, been getting slacks with the updates and articles again, so to have me posting, I’ve chucked  up another wallpaper from good ole’ Legend of Golden Plume (which has been going through its closed beta testing, so give it a go!).
