The Kitn and I were doing a spot snapshot photography as we were picking up some groceries at our local store.  There’s just some product names people really need to think about before sending them off to the shelves!  I’m not going to say anymore… See for yourselves!

Say hello to the Mini-Mini! Set to rival the Smart Car in being so compact those back seats are now hand bag holders or mp3 docking stations!

Of course this is just another mini car I put together in Photoshop.  This time trying out the technique on something a little smaller and more difficult.

I browsed across this tutorial over at Photoshopplanet.com on how to make mini cars and thought it was a good idea enough to give it a shot!  Seeing how good the results were on the tutorial I set out to see if I could re-create something just as good!

Here is my attempt

Recently I’ve been thinking about the quality of games compared to their price.  It’s not very often I would consider a game to be of great quality and good value for money (yes, yes, it’s my opinion).  If you look at the amount of games which are being pumped out these days, all share a common price tag, but the quality isn’t there.  But you’re darn tootin’ the price is high and painful on the wallets.

Time for a flashback (because posting youtube videos I’ve found is much easier than rummaging and posting pictures)!

I decided to try and make a list of cartoon intros that most folks probably don’t automatically list as a cartoon they remember watching, due to having forgotten about it, or never even seeing it.  These are cartoons I used to love watching as a kid, anyone remember any of these?

Yeah, I know, I went there.

Anyways, since I’ve been hiding out from blogging, I figured it’s time I wrote some small something to keep whatever non-existant readers contented and to appease the Yeti (who keeps prodding me to write something on here).

All right, one more Warhammer wallpaper before I start jumping on a different game to create from.

Once more, read the disclaimer below, none of this stuff is mine.  I just wanted to make wallpapers for folks to enjoy if they like Warhammer.  And if you like this stuff, great, make a comment so I’ll make more!

(The 1024 x 768 rule still applies though, since that’s the normal widescreen folks use, unless I’m asked for a different resolution)

Now go in and check it out:

So far, no rabid lawyers have come knocking down my door with cease and desist papers, so here’s another mashup turned Wallpaper Art.

Again, read the disclaimer below, none of this stuff is mine.  I just wanted to make wallpapers for folks to enjoy if they like Warhammer.  And if you like this stuff, great, make a comment so I’ll make more!

The Kitn heard about this Playstation Life and we decided to download it and give it a try.  First of all, you have to download Folding@home, which is some medical research thing, kind of like seti@home if anyone remembers that.

First impressions were “Oooo Shiney” when I saw the nice visual earth spinning around and thought it was neat how you could zoom in and out on the earth, see weather, but only for major cities.  Let’s take England for example:  All it gives you is London’s weather.  Now if you live in Scotland that info is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot, but there you go, that’s all your getting, now move along.

It does try and give you some news for each country, but we found when clicking on a news topic (some form of mini browser pops up) that the text on a standard definition tv was unreadable.

So all in all, it makes a nice spinning globe come up on your screen, but thats about as useful as it gets.  Compared to the Wii’s news and weather features it has a few steps to take before I will bother to load it up again.

All righty, launch day for the much hyped Warhammer game, so figured I’d try something new.  I was looking through the Warhammer site and didn’t see too many wallpapers I was too fond of.  So, I thought I’d cobble one (maybe more in the future) from the fansite kit.

Now, the usual disclaimer I smack up for my wallpapers is gonna be slightly changed seeing as I don’t know how all the regular legal mumbo jumbo of fansite kits work and if wallpaper making is allowed with the stuff.  The images are property of… well, read the disclaimer below, but none of this stuff is mine.  I just wanted to make wallpapers for folks to enjoy if they like Warhammer.  And if you like this stuff, great, make a comment so I’ll make more!
