We’ve Got Epic Loots!

Yeah, I know, I went there.

Anyways, since I’ve been hiding out from blogging, I figured it’s time I wrote some small something to keep whatever non-existant readers contented and to appease the Yeti (who keeps prodding me to write something on here).

So about these Epic Loots.  I’ll get the first one out of the way (mainly because I don’t have pictures of it to show).  Lately, WoW’s been celebrating Brewfest, the festival of getting your characters drunk on virtual alcohol.  And one of the prizes to be had by celebrating is fighting a blasted boss in Black Rock Depths for a painfully low drop rate mount: Brewfest Kodo.  Now really, both me and the Yeti wanted it, but seeing as Yeti is the outstanding hubby that he is, he let me have the only one we’ve seen in over a dozen battles (blast you Direbrew Hops!).

We’ve stopped battled Coren Direbrew (the boss) since the hubby is tired of running all his alts back and forth (on a PvP server, it’s twice as painfully slow), but I might try to wheedle him to keep going just so he can have a chance to get his.  What girl wouldn’t want matching Kodo mounts with her man?

The other Epic item isn’t so epic in theory, since it has a limit to how many you get, but since we never win anything from those blasted WoW TCG cards (pricey things we rarely get), it’s still a pretty nice score for us.  So yeah, WoW has TCG cards, a trading card game we don’t play, we just collect for the art and a chance for some random item.  What we won is:

It’s not a bad piece of loot, the problem is, it’s limited to a quantity.  Other loot cards, you get to keep and pop out whatever it is you win unlimited amounts of times.  This, lasts 50 tries (46 for me now).  And it’s a shame since it’s really fun to play with, making non-combat pets huge, so with me, it’ll run out fast.  I can’t keep buying packs to keep my large pet fix, darn you WoW!!
