Clipping The Wings
Filed under BabblesIts been super crazy busy lately, but now it’s time for a lil babble.
So, about this Aion business, did you try it? I sure did, and as it happens I managed to clip my wings (cancel my subscription) before having to pay for another month. It’s not that I hated it, it just wasn’t for me. The heavy grind and not really feeling connected to anything in the game, the characters, and the community just wasn’t memorable.
As it turns out, the Kitn actually played it more than me as we decided to share an account for dipping our toes in to see how it was. In the end though, it was time to clip the wings as we really didn’t want to pay for it.
All in all, it would make a great F2P but it just didn’t do much for us seeing how it was a subscription based game. Oh, and don’t get me started on the customer service or lack of.
If you’re looking for a grind / gank fest then maybe this game is for you! Otherwise it’s time to keep on looking for that next game.
In other news, we’ve both been super busy with work and other stuffs like birthdays and getting some early Christmas shopping in.
Oh! and a Wiki is being setup as a little code base for all kinds of scripties so do keep an eye out for that! (Seeing as alot of our silent visitors head on over to our articles about WoW programming 
)
