If you’re into your World of Warcraft you would know there has already been a few people hopping aboard the WoW battering ram to cash in.  Now it’s Creative’s turn with the new Sound Blaster Headset.

I’m not one for picking up WoW merchandise, but these do actually look really nice (not sure about comfort though as they are due for release on the 15th Feb 2010 which is only a few days away!).

It may just be a gimmick, but you can change the colour of the headset by using a the software supplied, so you can be a pink alliance, or a green hordie.  It also mentions additional lenses in the coming future (I would like baby murloc heads on mine).

For more info on all the features check it out here.

More reason to scream at the guy playing unnecessarily loud music on the raid vent servers…

Ever since last year I have been trying to save for a big upgrade to the iMac I use as a PC (thank god for bootcamp!), and with this and that popping up all over the place, I wasn’t able to put my order in for a new PC.

Well, that came to an end when we managed to gather up enough pennies to fund the upgrade and saw it as an early birthday present for myself (seeing as it would cost so much).

Now, being an IT Techie as I am by trade, I could have bought all of the bits and put it all together myself, which I had been doing for years.  But this time, I thought, nah… let someone else do all the work and just plug it and go.

Lets just say next time, I’m going back to my old ways and building the system myself.

All right, I’ve been a lazy cow-tn.  I know I haven’t been doing any articles for some time now, and I aim to make up for it… er, eventually.  It’s not a matter of just not knowing what to write, as usual, it’s that lack of motivation to get the pictures, write down the sources, you know.. all the meticulous little details that I tend to want to include in a post that makes it ridiculously long-winded.  But that’s just how I am.  I can’t do it halfway… well, okay, except for today’s rambles, so at least I’ll have put up something.

Anyhoo, today’s rambles will have a condensed version of stuff I’ve wanted to publish and just haven’t gotten around to, or things that have kept me busy enough to not want to blog.  If you’re lucky and I get my tail on it, you’ll find a longer, more detailed article (or if you comment… yes, I’m still fishing for comments.  It’s like pulling teeth from a stone if it had any to get people to comment something that’s not a medicinal aid or selling me something I wouldn’t ever buy in the first place.  I’m looking at you triple X junk!).

All righty, so we haven’t updated in a while, but here’s something neat to look forward to:  A Sale!  If you haven’t heard about it yet, Play-Asia (one of the game selling sites we’ve had good service with on the few times we’ve scraped money for a game) is having a sale on a bunch of good stuff.  Like that Okami art book I keep raving about, that’s one of the items on sale.

So, check it out (click the banner), buy something, and if you know of any other good/reputable online game stores (that ship to the UK), give a shout!

The Kitn and I were doing a spot snapshot photography as we were picking up some groceries at our local store.  There’s just some product names people really need to think about before sending them off to the shelves!  I’m not going to say anymore… See for yourselves!

For many people, picking up a copy will be easy as pie.  All they have to do is just go to a local store or the store’s website and do a pre-order.  Now, for the people like us who play in a different region than where we live (living in the UK and play on the US servers), it’s another story.

Well, I found a few places.  Renchi.com was one, along with Gameplanet or something in NZ, but I think i’m going to stick with what I know and trust which is Play-Asia.  Unfortunately, we have yet to find a special edition of WotLK, but when we do, we’ll be sure to post that up as well.

But of course the choice is up to you and good luck on your importing!

The Kitn and I, or more so the Kitn, stumbled upon a download and print voucher from The Forbidden Planet for 30% (selected stuff, not on sale) over the past weekend, to celebrate their 30th birthday. Having the voucher in hand we just couldn’t pass it up!

Here’s today’s shopping article featuring a toy with my namesake, Pinky Street Figure (My Melody).

I was never too big of a fan of My Melody stuff growing up, but my sister was a big fan of stuff like Little Twin Star and the like, so they figured I’d be too.  Instead, I would buy into the lesser of the pink evils such as Keroppi or Pochaco to stave my Sanrio fixes of random useless trinkets and boxes.

Nowadays, I don’t mind the gal as much, and besides, the Pinky Street figures are pretty darn cute.  They need to start making more green colored gals…

Anyhoo, get’m while they last, being limited availability over at Play-Asia.
